MY VISION & MISSION
Every film I’ve ever made, I’ve made with the belief that diversity in an individual brings greatness. I believe that greatness derives from others and the more you learn from the people around you, the more you grow as a diverse artist; and I believe the more I grow as a diverse artist, the better I will be able to communicate a vision with the world.
It’s my responsibility as a filmmaker to serve as the bridge between the audience and screen, and as a result, I create cinema. Through Film I can convey emotions: love, happiness, anger, sadness, and depression. Through Film I can tell stories: tragedies, comedies, dramas, and romances. All of this and more, yet people don’t watch my films for fun; they watch my films for their message. For their purpose and meaning of their existence. People watch films my with the intention to learn…To connect with the actors, and to immerse themselves in a new world.
FIND A WAY
Film serves as the gateway for me to communicate with the world. Through production, I create anything I want and am able to introduce fantasy into my life. As a result, I show my imagination to the world, and through this, create art.
I challenge the status quo and think outside of the box. I look past my limitations while using them to my advantage. I don’t let anything hold me back from fulfilling my full potential and role as an independent filmmaker.
DIVERSIFIED EXPERTISE
I don’t aim to learn a single component in film, rather I aim to be proficient throughout all of its aspects. I don’t limit myself within film because limitations are cages. Instead I challenge myself to tell all kinds of stories.
I see film as a way of life. I see film as a way for me to live a thousand lifetimes and make a thousand more. By staying diverse, I allow myself to grow and adapt in cinema, and once I find what I wish to pursue, I will have the abilities to perfect my vision I strive to share with the world.
